FOR THERAPISTS & PROVIDERS
Website Strategy and Design for Therapists, Built on Lived Experience
Your website should do more than list your credentials. It should help the people you serve understand your approach, feel less uncertain, and know they’re in the right hands before they ever reach out.
Two things shape how I do this work: being a website strategist, and being the parent of a child with complex support needs who’s spent years navigating therapy, assessments, and the everyday search for the right provider. That combination is behind every website I build for therapists, counsellors, and the professionals who support individuals and families across Canada.

WHY I DO THIS WORK
Website Design Shaped by Years on the Other Side of the Search
Long before I designed websites for therapists and specialists, I was searching for one myself: the right therapist, the right assessment, the right specialist for my son. As the parent of a child with complex support needs, I spent countless hours sorting through websites that were polished but still left me unsure whether I’d found the right fit.
That search taught me something that shapes every website I build: the practices that earned my trust weren’t always the most beautiful. They were the ones that helped me understand what to expect, spoke plainly instead of clinically, and made the next step obvious.
I bring both sides of that experience to every project: the strategy of someone who’s built websites for therapists and helping professionals, and the perspective of someone who’s sat on the other side of the screen, trying to decide who to trust with something so important.

How I Ended Up Designing Websites for Therapists
Long before I built websites for therapists, I was the parent scrolling through them myself, trying to figure out who could help my son. This is the story of that search, and of Noah, who has no spoken words and somehow still makes himself completely understood.
Five Things I Look For in a Therapist Website
Most website reviews check load speed and mobile-friendliness. Mine ask one question: does this site help someone move from unsure to confident enough to reach out? Here are the five things I’m looking at when I evaluate a therapist’s website, and why it matters more than any checklist.
Why Cheap Websites Cost Therapists More
Going cheap on your website feels like the responsible choice early on, and often it is. The problem starts once the practice outgrows the template, and you never see the inquiries you’re quietly losing because of it. Here’s where the real cost shows up, and when it’s actually worth investing in something built to grow with you.
